A Hazleton man was killed on Interstate 81 between McAdoo and Hazleton Monday afternoon.

State police at Hazleton said Ricky Isaiah Zimmerman, 25, was walking on Instate 81 South near mile marker 140.He was struck and killed by a tractor trailer at 2:54 p.m.The incident remains under investigation.
