Route 209 in Franklin Township is closed due to a crash.

Shortly after 6 p.m. the operator of a tractor trailer traveling north at the intersection with Cherry Hill road decided to make an illegal U-turn.

As he did a man driving in the passing lane could not avoid the rig driving into its side. The driver of the car suffered a head injury. Franklin township police are investigating the incident.
