Lehighton police reported the arrest of an Ashfield resident for criminal mischief.

Corey Bossert, 21, of 1128 Dinkey Road, was cited for vandalizing a vehicle owned by Michael Herman Jr., by slashing two tires and throwing a sticky substance on the vehicle. Damages were estimated at $418.17. The incident occurred on Dec. 31, 2012. Police said Bossert admitted to the incident.
