A Carbon County man pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of indecent exposure, and it is not his first time facing that charge.

Christopher Michael Snyder, 42, of Summit Hill, entered his plea before Judge Joseph J. Matika for an incident on March 16 at the Rite Aid store at 480 W. Bertsch St., in Lansford. Borough police were called to the store to a report of a man exposing himself to female employees in the store. Snyder was the person involved.Matika noted that Snyder had a prior conviction for the same offense and six days after finishing his sentence in that case, he committed the Rite Aid offense.Snyder, who is undergoing mental health counseling, told Matika, "I messed up. It will never happen again. I know I have to think before I act."Matika told Snyder, "Because you sought out treatment, that will save you from a jail term today."Matika placed him on probation for two years and ordered him to continue his mental health counseling, render 100 hours of community service, have no contact with the victims in the matter, pay court costs of about $1,000, pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation and stay out of the Rite Aid store in Lansford.
