The Greater Northern Lehigh Chamber of Commerce recognized Eight Oaks Craft Distillers as the January 2017 Business of the Month.

Open for a year, Eight Oaks in New Tripoli is a farm distillery that raises its own non-genetically modified grains, such as wheat, rye, barley and corn for the production of rye whiskey, vodka, gin, rum and bourbon, and purchases local apples for its applejack.Owner Chad Butters and his staff, Carly Butters, general manager; Logan Snyder, lead distiller; Jesse Tyahla, and the rest of the crew have made Eight Oaks a standout name. The distillery won the silver medal for grain-to-glass vodka at the American Distilling Institute's International Spirits Competition in its first year.The distillery has also been featured in the Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market and Reading Terminal Market, as well as seasonal farmers markets throughout the region.Visit
