A Facebook campaign conducted by Bill and Sharon Chapman, owners of Parkview Inn

in Summit Hill, resulted in more than 50 people donating gifts for residents at Edgemont Personal Care Home in Lansford. Although residents will receive an assortment of gifts, all of them will receive a lap blanket, sweater, deodorant, toothbrush, soap, body wash and hand sanitizer. Sharon said the overwhelming majority of the donations were from Summit Hill residents, although some gifts came from former local residents now living in Texas and Colorado. Packaging the items are, from left, Keegan Wyshosky, Shalmar Mantz, Kassandra Mantz, Sharon Chapman, Bill Chapman and Franklin Klock. A total of 43 bags of gifts were put together.
