Walnutport Borough Council recently took the following action:

• Refinance an outstanding 2003 note the Walnutport Authority took out, a $175,000 savings.

• Will reimburse the borough $2,162 from the non-uniform contribution pension.

• A lease agreement between the Walnutport Canal Association and the borough will remain the same.

• An E-Recycling event will be held in the borough parking lot on May 20.
