Tabatha M. Murphy, 28, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct - unreasonable noise, disorder conduct hazardous/physical offense, criminal mischief - damage property, public drunkenness and similar misconduct, and simple assault on May 18, 2016.

She pleaded guilty on Nov. 30, 2016, to resisting arrest and criminal mischief, and was sentenced by Judge James P. Goodman to up to 18 months in jail followed by 18 months on probation.Goodman recently revoked that probation, and sent her back to jail for three to 18 months. He also ordered her to pay any fees and costs owed.Joseph E. Kuhla, 25, of Tamaqua: Charged by Tamaqua police with possession of a small amount of marijuana for personal use, use/possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of marijuana on Jan. 10, 2011.He pleaded guilty on March 20, 2013 to the small amount of marijuana and paraphernalia charges. Goodman sentenced him to 12 months on probation.On March 30, 2016, Goodman revoked his probation and sentenced him to three to 12 months in jail.On June 27, Goodman revoked his parole and sent him back to jail for the original sentence, with no credit for the 150 days he was free.
