State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a business sign.

Troopers said a four by four-foot sign of John Hess Auction Service, was removed from a site at 1440 Creek Road, in Upper Mahantongo Township, sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. on March 15.The sign had gold and green edging and black letters that read, "Public Auction Real Estate-38+ acres, Friday, May 17th."
