A Tamaqua area cemetery was robbed over the past weekend.

The Odd Fellows Cemetery, located off SR209 in Schuylkill Township, at the extreme west end of Tamaqua, had the maintenance building forcibly entered. Removed was two red plastic cans full of gas, an orange extension cord and a Toro leaf blower.Entry to the building was made by kicking in the door, troopers said, and then entering the garage section. The criminals then cut a lock on a mausoleum about 500 feet west of the maintenance building but nothing was disturbed in the mausoleum.The incident occurred sometime between 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, June 19, and 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
