Italian restaurant Le Quattro Stagioni (DiMaggios) has been serving up Italian delights since its opening last month in Nesquehoning.
Although the restaurant itself is new, the recipes are familiar. Le Quattro Stagioni is one of many DiMaggios restaurants owned by Roberto Picone."The owner of the building said there was an opportunity so we opened another restaurant," said Picone, of the Nesquehoning location. The first DiMaggios' restaurant, located at 16 W. Broad Street Tamaqua, was opened by Picone's brother, Alfie, in 1988. Today, the restaurant is known as La Dolce Casa (DiMaggios). The other locations are in Port Carbon, Minersville and Shenandoah. The DiMaggios restaurants all specialize in pizza and Italian dishes."We have homemade bread, lasagna, dough, pasta and sauce. Just about everything is homemade," Picone said. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is located at 1130 East Catawissa Street, Nesquehoning.
