Jennifer McGovern, 41, of Schuylkill Haven, has been arrested for retail theft by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks after an incident at 11:56 a.m. March 23 at the Curious Cat, a business in Wayne Township, Schuylkill County.

Police said she put on a pair of Converse sneakers that were offered for sale at the business and left her sneakers behind before departing the store without paying for them.
