Pleasant Valley and Jim Thorpe picked up baseball wins in local action of Friday.

BASEBALLPleasant Vy.-LehightonPleasant Valley came up with a pair of runs in the top of the seventh to pull out a 5-4 win over Lehighton in Mountain Valley Conference action.Lehighton (13-6, 6-5) scored two in the first and two more in the fourth and held a 4-2 lead heading into the sixth inning. Pleasant Valley (9-8, 7-3) scored a run in the sixth before adding the tying and winning run.Aaron Cetnar had two hits, one RBI and two runs scored for the Bears, while Adrian Concepcion also added two hits, one RBI and scored a run.
