State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary at a Monroe County residence in which jewelry was taken.

Troopers said the home of Kristie Auclair, of 2293 Hill Road, Effort, Chestnuthill Township, was entered sometime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on April 8.The homeowner returned and found her dresser drawers open and jewelry missing. Value of the missing items was set at $3,625.
