State police at Lehighton reported investigating a two vehicle crash on May 16, no time listed, along Old Route 115 at Meixsell Valley Road, in Ross Township, Monroe County.

Troopers said Martin Charles, 63, of Saylorsburg, was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer northbound and attempting to make a left turn onto Meixsell Valley Road as Victoria Weaver, 41, of Effort, driving a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix, was northbound on 115.While Charles attempted the turn Weaver attempted to pass on the left but a crash occurred, troopers said.Charles sustained minor injuries in the accident while Weaver was not injured.Blue Ridge Fire Company volunteers and West End ambulance personnel assisted at the scene.
