State police at Fern Ridge reported on the following crashes probed by troopers.
A one vehicle crash was reported about 6:42 a.m. on May 15 along Interstate 80 in Kidder Township, Carbon County. Troopers said Javon M. Harrell, 21, of East Stroudsburg, was driving a 2008 Ford Focus when he struck a deer when it entered the road. Damages were moderate to the car which had to be towed from the scene. Harrell was not injured.A two vehicle crash occurred about 4:31 p.m. on May 16 along SR209 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said a 2006 Infiniti M35X, operated by Joseph Farda, 88, of Kresgeville, rear-ended a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Garfield Huguley, 75, of Aquashicola. No one was injured.A crash occurred at 7:47 p.m. on May 16 along SR115, near Weir Lake Road, in Chestnuthill Township. Troopers said a 1994 Harley-Davidson motorcycle, operated by Freeman L. Gladd, 51, of Effort, rear-ended a 2004 Saturn Vue driven by Theodore E. Delane, 61, of Blakeslee.Gladd was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, by West End ambulance. Delane sustained a minor injury and his passenger, Linda Delane, was not injured.
