State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two crashes probed by troopers.

A two vehicle crash was reported about 10:43 a.m. on May 30 along the Minersville-Pottsville Road (SR901), at Bunting St., in Norwegian Township. Troopers said James A. Ponter, 49, of Pottsville, was stopped for a stop sign on Bunting while Rose T. Horan, 89, of Pottsville, was eastbound on 901. Horan traveled into the right lane after construction cones ended, while Ponter pulled out into the intersection.The front of Ponter's 2004 Dodge Durango struck the right front of Horan's 2003 Kia Spectra.Ponter and his passenter, Evan Ponter, 21, and Horan, were all not injured. Troopers cited Ponter for a stop sign violation.The second crash occurred about 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, along SR443 in Pine Grove Township, and involved three vehicles. Troopers said Nicole L. Keefer, 27, of Pine Grove, was stopped in the parking lot of a Dollar General store waiting to turn left to go west while Darlene J. Morgan, 59, of Schuylkill Haven, was eastbound and a 16-year-old male from Pine Grove was westbound, attempting a turn into the store lot.As the teen attempted to turn left his 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt was struck by Morgan's 2005 Hyundai Sante Fe. After impact the Cobalt was pushed into the front of Keefer's 2008 Saturn Outlook.No one was injured in the crash. Troopers cited the teen for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
