State police at Frackville are investigating a theft of services incident.

Troopers said PPL Electric Utilities alleges that during a time frame of May 21 to Wednesday, June 12, a 55 year-old man who resides at 2 S. Wylam St., Frackville, was using an alternative PPL meter to obtain an unspecified amount of electricity without paying for it.PPL alleges when confronted the man admitted to swapping out the meters. Troopers said the investigation is continuing. The name of the suspect was not released by troopers.
