Three persons were charged as the result of an incident that occurred about 5:50 p.m. on Monday, June 10, in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said David Harry Kleppinger, 59, of Lower Towamensing Township, and Amber Colleen Defiore, 20, of Lehighton, became involved in a verbal argument that turned physical during a child custody exchange.As a result Kleppinger and Defiore were both charged with harassment. In addition, Kleppinger was also charged with criminal mischief after causing damage to Defiore's vehicle.Troopers added that Matthew C. Mark, 22, of Lehighton, was charaged with criminal trespass.
