A spaghetti dinner to benefit an injured Palmerton Police officer will be held Saturday.

The benefit for officer Trevor Flexer will take place from 4-8 p.m. at the West End Fire Company, 855 W. Princeton Ave.There is an $8 charge for the all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner.Flexer, who has been an officer with the borough since 2006, suffered an injury off duty and will be out of work for an extended period of time.Detective Kevin Buck, along with several borough police officers, have arranged for the dinner and bake sale in the hopes of raising some money for Flexer and his family."We look forward to seeing the community come out and support one of our officers," Buck said.Buck said donations for the bake sale, or donations in general, are being accepted.Anyone with questions may contact Buck at 610-826-4055 between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
