The Jim Thorpe High School Class of 1957, which was the third class to graduate from the high school, held reunion festivities recently. On June 9, several members of the class attended Jim Thorpe Area High School graduation ceremonies where the class was recognized. On June 10, classmates gathered at Dean Anthony's Banquet Hall in Jim Thorpe to celebrate their 60-year reunion. Alvin Sellers led the program by remembering deceased classmates and gave a toast to the class of 1957 celebrating 60 years. Beverly Putt, treasurer of the class, gave a financial report and shared albums and information from the past 60 years. The member traveling the farthest for the reunion was William Herbert of Tucson, Arizona.
