Golden Agers

Panther Valley Golden Agers met June 26 with 39 members attending.The meeting began with a prayer and a club song.Hospitality for the month of July is Betty Marek and Diane Gould.New members Irma Leibensperger and Maria Ondrus were introduced and welcomed by the group.The next meeting will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. John's Slovak Lutheran Church Social Hall.Doors will not open until 1 p.m. due to the children's lunch. There will be no Early Bird Specials.Panther ValleySenior CenterThe menu at the Panther Valley Senior Center for the week of July 10-14 is:Monday: Baked fish and mac & cheese or barbecue chicken sandwichTuesday: Chicken and spaghetti or buffalo chicken sandwichWednesday: Swiss steak and mashed potatoes or chicken Caesar saladThursday: Pork with pineapple and rice or turkey wrapFriday: Chicken rice soup, turkey bacon sandwich, and tomato saladThe center has also announced upcoming events.Horse racing on July 10; Sunshine Meeting at 10 a.m. followed by Scattergories on July 11; Birthday Bingo at 11 a.m. on July 12; Boscov's trip on CCCT at 9:30 a.m. and Karaoke at 11 a.m. on July 13; card games on July 14.For more information or to sign up, call Fran Craigie, senior center operator at 570-669-9930.New members are always welcome.
