Park concert

Sunday's concert in the Palmerton Borough Park will be by the Large Flowerheads. The concert is sponsored by the Horsehead Community Development Fund. The event begins at 7 p.m. in the Park Bandstand. The committee reserves the right to cancel in the case of inclement weather. Bring your lawn chair.Historical societyMonday's meeting of the Palmerton Area Historical Society will feature a talk by Rick Smith on the Molly Maguires. The program will begin at 7 p.m. at the Little White Church, Third and Columbia Avenue, Palmerton. Morning prayer is on Wednesdays from 9-9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.
