A Carbon County woman is facing a prison term after pleading guilty to drug counts in three pending criminal cases.

Rebekah Joy Shubrick, 26, of Lehighton, entered pleas before Judge Steven R. Serfass to one count each of criminal use of a communication facility, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance - heroin, and possession of a controlled substance - heroin.She was arrested on the first count on Nov. 14, 2016, after she sold heroin to a confidential informant working the vice unit of the state police at Hazleton. The sale was made along White Street in Weissport. The possession with intent count occurred on April 26, 2016, when she sold to a CI working for the state Attorney General's office. The sale occurred along Route 248 at Palmerton following a vehicle stop. A brick of heroin and 50 baggies of the drug were found.The possession count is for an incident on March 25, 2016, in the area of Christman's Field filed by Franklin Township police. Heroin was again involved.Serfass deferred sentencing and ordered the adult probation office to prepare a presentence investigation report.Shubrick is an inmate in the county prison on the charges.
