State police at Lehighton are investigating two burglaries at Monroe County locations.

The home of Dominick Anthony Porzillo, 63, at 207 Scenic Drive, Polk Township, was entered by breaking a rear bedroom window. Once inside the criminals removed a Smith & Wesson model 34, .22-caliber gun, serial number 7203162. The entry occurred sometime between March 25 and Tuesday, July 2.A residence along Arrow Lane, in the Robin Hood Lake East development in Polk Township, was entered through a basement window. Troopers said rooms were entered, items were moved, and an obscene word was taped to a living room coffee table. The owner was not identified by troopers.The incident occurred sometime between Jan. 1 and Wednesday, July 3.
