Driver facing multiple charges

A Bucks County man is facing numerous charges after he was stopped by Mahoning Township police for having passengers in the bed of his pick-up truck.

David A. Lupino, 31, of Line Lexington, has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI), possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, passengers in open trucks, and careless driving.Police said that on July 6, at approximately 5:04 p.m., an officer stopped a pickup truck with three persons riding in the bed. Police said the truck was going over 45 mpg, which is above the allotted 35 mph zone when persons are riding in a truck bed.Lupino had a BAC of .10 percent, police said, which is above the legal limit of .08 percent. In addition police said he was found in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
