West Penn Township's board of supervisors took the following action this week:

• Agreed to advertise a well ordinance. Supervisors plan to adopt the ordinance at the board's Aug. 21 meeting.• Rejected all bids for the 2017 bituminous seal coat.• Appointed Singleton Harvey as an alternate on the township's zoning hearing board.• Agreed to spend $416 for Cloud set up and services for data backup.• Announced that Blue Lizard Winery will host a 5K run on Sept. 2 with a 9 a.m. start time.- Terry Ahner
