Charges against a Kunkletown man will be filed after he was involved in an altercation in Polk Township, Monroe County, on Sunday, Aug. 4.

According to state police at Lehighton, troopers were notified at 11:10 a.m. a physical altercation between Jim Akers III, 20, of Kunkletown; and Paul Michael Dutka, 23, of Effort, took place. During the altercation Akers struck Dutka in the face and also smashed his passenger side window with his fist.Troopers are still investigating. Charges will filed.
