Church Women United of Monroe County will be collecting filled Christmas stockings at its December meeting - date and time to be announced. Groups can donate from one to as many as they want. If a list of things to be included in the stocking/tote is needed contact the organization secretary at 570-629-0649. Each stocking/tote should be labeled for male, female or child. These will be given to area organizations.Nomination forms are available for the 10th annual Margaret Wyckoff Wells award to be presented at the group's December Christmas meeting. The event, marking William Penn Day, will feature several historical groups of Monroe County and surrounding counties.The Monroe County Historical Association will be bringing its Selfie Station and the West End Fire Company No. 43 will have the 1932 "Buffalo" firetruck on display.This event will also feature the newly acquired 9/11 World Trade Center artifact file number F-0021.068. by The Heritage Center of the Western Pocono Community Library.There will be many exhibits on display as well as demonstrations, storytelling, re-enactments and antique/collectible cars. Food will be available.Dedication SaturdaySt. Matthew's UCC church in Kunkletown will hold its dedication-celebration covered-dish dinner of the new addition at 5 p.m. Saturday.The guest speaker will be the Rev.
