Jim Thorpe news carrier Joseph McArdle III was recognized at the Luncheon of Champions in Hershey recently for carrying papers for the Times News.

McArdle took second place among youth finalists. He received a check from the Pennsylvania Newsmedia Association Foundation and free tickets to Hershey Park.Guests were also treated to a buffet lunch.
