In honor of its 10th anniversary, the Weissport Redneck Festival has created a new contest.

Bringing you the craziest contests in the most unique festival in the area, the rednecks at the Weissport Recreation Committee is hosting the Redneck Wet T-shirt & Boxer Short Contest.In this contest, the shirts and boxers are already wet, and contestants just need to put it on over whatever they are wearing, and that's where the fun begins, because the T-shirts and boxers are frozen.There is an entry category for guys and one for gals. Entrants will find creative and innovative ways to thaw out their T-shirts or boxer shorts and compete for prizes.Duane Dellecker, one of the festival organizers said, "Our committee is great to work with and is always coming up with new ideas. The visitors to our festival are the most genuine, down-to-earth, fun-loving people I've had the privilege to meet.
