State police at Fern Ridge reported the arrest of Houis Edwards, 60, of Saylorsburg, for retail theft.

The incident occurred at Kinsley's ShopRite store, along Kinsley Lane, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, about 2 p.m. on Nov. 22. Troopers accused Edwards of taking merchandise valued at $39.99 without paying for it.
