The Lehighton Downtown Farmers Market will host Old Fashioned Day in the Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the borough park.

Special events will include a community scavenger hunt, with a 10 a.m. start at the Lehighton Downtown Initiative tent; a pie in the face; a bubble gum contest; homemade milkshakes; and photos in cool costumes and fun backdrops.Visitors can also join Aaron Jablin, Executive Chef at the St. Luke's Miners Campus, who will give guided shopping tours of the market, followed by cooking demonstrations using produce and ingredients selected that day from the market.To stay with the theme of Old Fashioned Day in the Park, there will be a free movie night in the park (amphitheater) at dusk on Friday, which will show "The Lion King."
