A Tamaqua woman has been charged in connection with a domestic assault in the borough, which reportedly took place this past Sunday.
Patrolman Joseph Krebs was dispatched to 515 E. Union St. at 12:16 a.m., where he spoke with William Moyer, who reported being punched by his wife, Susan Moyer. The left side of Moyer's face and his left shoulder showed evidence of bruising and cuts, including several areas covered with dried blood.Krebs contacted Mrs. Moyer, 42, of 345 Willing St., Tamaqua, who admitted punching her husband a few times after an argument.She was arrested, then arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment. Duty District Judge James Kilker set bail at $15,000.
