April 18, 1975 Northwestern uses the long ball to cruise to a 15-4 Centennial League victory over Pocono Mountain. The Tigers, coached by Mike Haberern, slug three homers in posting the win. Todd Schellhamer opens the scoring by hitting a grand slam in the first inning. One frame later, Larry House blasts a two-run homer. Kevin Corman also goes deep, drilling a two-run shot in the fourth. House picks up the pitching win, allowing just four hits while striking out nine, while Ron Weiner contributes four hits at the plate.
