Rush Township Police Police investigated at least two weather related crashes on Tuesday.

At 10:22 a.m., 19-year-old Zachary Oliveria, Hometown, was traveling north on Lincoln Drive when he lost control of his vehicle. The Ford Focus struck a utility pole and had to be towed from the scene.Neither Oliveria nor his passenger were injured.Ar 12:48 p.m., 20-year-old Eric Bachert of Tamaqua was traveling north on Claremont Avenue when he lost control of the Volkswagen he was driving. Bachert was transported to St. Lukes' Miners Hospital in Coaldale for undisclosed injuries.His vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
