Carol A. Moore, 58, of Bangor, was arrested by state police at the Lehighton barracks for failure to drive at a safe speed after a one-vehicle crash at 2:20 p.m. Jan. 31 on Route 335, the Kunkletown Road, in Ross Township.

Police said she was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound when she lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the road striking a tree with its right side. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment and into a creek.Police said the Trailblazer sustained body damages on the rear passenger side quarter panel, as well as front-end damages. Police said the vehicle was towed out of the embankment and was able to be driven from the scene.Moore was uninjured.
