Snow-covered roads were blamed for two crashes that occurred on Monday, Feb. 3, along Monroe County roads.
State police at Fern Ridge said a crash occurred at 10:05 a.m. along Bartonsville Woods Road, in Jackson Township. Troopers said Chelsea A. Lapent, 24, of Lafayette Hill, Montgomery County, was westbound when she lost control due to road conditions. Her 2001 Ford Mustang spun around and struck a tree along the east berm. Lapent was not injured.The second crash occurred about 11:58 a.m. along Route 209 in Hamilton Township. Troopers said Kevin Roselli, 45, of Brodheadsville, was driving a 2007 Saturn Aura southbound when he lost control due to road conditions. The car went onto the berm and struck a tree. Roselli was not injured.
