State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a theft incident at a Carbon County residence.

Troopers said while Michael Egitto, of Albrightsville, was staying at the residence of Gregory Henry Ross, 154 Pawnee Trail, Mt. Pocahontas, Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, he allegedly took jewelry and a firearm from the home. The incident occurred sometime between May 2 and June 2, 2013.Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call trooper at 570-646-2271. The investigation is continuing, troopers added.
