A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence following an incident on March 1 at midnight.

State police at Frackville said Kimberly Ann Schappell, 38, of Frackville, was stopped for a traffic violation along Route 61 in Frackville. She was found to be under the influence and was taken to a Pottsville area hospital where she submitted to a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results. Troopers said she will be charged with driving while operating privileges are under suspended-DUI related.
