Possession of drug paraphernaliaCriminal charges were filed against Ryan Dillman, 25, of 335 Forest Drive, Palmerton, for possession of firearm prohibited, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and firearms not to be carried without a license.The incident occurred on Feb. 25 at 11:45 a.m. at Fifth Street and Lehigh Avenue.A juvenile referral was filed against a 14-year-old Palmerton male for possession of drug paraphernalia.The incident occurred on Feb. 22 at 2:49 p.m. in the 1000 block of Mauch Chunk Road.Criminal charges were filed against Steven Herman, 19, of 925 Pennsylvania Ave., Bethlehem, for two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.The incident occurred on Sept. 11, 2013, at 10:45 p.m. in the 200 block of Lehigh Avenue.DUICriminal charges were filed against Michael Vega, 35, of 608 W. Washington St., Slatington, for driving under the influence, driving under suspension, careless driving, and speeding. The incident occurred on Jan. 16 at 10:04 p.m. in the 100 block of Delaware Avenue.SpeedingGene Wertz, 41, of 144 Wild Turkey Lane, New Ringgold, was cited for speeding.The violation occurred on Feb. 20 at 5:17 p.m. on Route 248 west.Traffic violationRicky Stevens Jr., 31, of 8 Hillside Ave., Palmerton, was cited for driving under suspension. The violation occurred on Feb. 16 at 2 p.m. in the 900 block of W. Edgemont Avenue.A citation was issued to Andrea Nock, 24, of 653 Main St., Apt. 4, Slatington, for obedience to traffic control device. The violation occurred on Feb. 20 at 1 p.m. on Route 248 west.Vehicle violationCharles Heffelfinger, 66, of 1404 Nectarine Drive, Cherryville, was cited for expired license and display of registration plate. The violations occurred on Jan. 31 at 1:25 p.m. in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue.
