One of two drivers involved in a crash that occurred at 5:06 p.m. on July 2 along Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, has been cited for the crash.

State police at Fern Ridge said Ann F. Heiland, 66, of Lehighton, was driving a 2018 Mazda CX5 eastbound while Ludwik Walon, 78, of Stroudsburg, driving a 2017 Nissa, was stopped facing eastbound. Heiland did not notice the stopped vehicle waiting for traffic to pass. The front of Heiland’s vehicle hit the rear of Walon’s vehicle.

No one was injured. Heiland was cited for careless driving.
