November 6, 1971 — Panther Valley uses three long touchdowns to gain a 20-6 Eastern Conference victory over Blue Mountain. Pete Radocha accounts for two of the Panther scores, one on the ground and the other through the air. PV, coached by Rich Davidyock, break a scoreless halftime tie on a 74-yard TD run by Jack Sweeney. After the Eagles pull withing a point, Radocha puts the game away with a pair of scores in the final frame. First he reaches the end zone on a 69-yard pass play from Gary Evans and then later breaks free for a 52-yard scoring run.
