State police at Bethlehem

State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• Erriana Snyder, 25, of Slatedale, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after police made a traffic stop at 12:41 a.m. Sept. 12.

She was stopped in a 2003 Honda Accord for numerous traffic violations on Route 22 in the City of Bethlehem. Police said she exhibited several signs of impairment and was administered a standardized field sobriety test, after which she was taken into custody.

• Police are investigating a theft incident reported by a 59-year-old woman from Slatedale.

They were called to Morgan Street, Washington Township, where the woman told them she had applied for a loan through a fictitious company named “Prosper,” after which an actor deposited a check in the amount of $895.06 via a mobile app.

The woman said she took the check to her bank to deposit and the bank released the funds to her two days later.

She said she then took the money that was deposited in her account and sent it back to the actor. The woman was notified by the bank that the check was fraudulent.

• Police said about $1,000 worth of Verizon wire and cable was stolen in an incident that was reported to them at 12:08 p.m. Aug. 8.

Wiring was cut and removed from the area of Old Mill Road and Christmas Lane, Washington Township, according to police.
