October 20, 2006 — Robbie Frey carries 31 times for 297 yards and Lehighton breaks away in the second half to gain a 42-14 Mountain Valley Conference victory over Pocono Mountain West. With the score knotted at halftime, Frey breaks loose for a 94-yard touchdown run on his team’s first play of the third quarter. The Indians, coached by Bill Brong, add another score in the frame and tack on two more in the fourth. Frey ends with three TDs, with his other scoring runs both from 30 yards away. Justin Mooney tosses a 9-yard touchdown pass to Shane McEvoy, while Jesse Strawser adds 4-yard TD run. Defensively, Gary Fedor intercepts a pair of passes.
