Perry records hat trick in big win

Pleasant Valley’s Marta Perry had a hat trick as the Pleasant Valley girls soccer team rolled past Dieruff on Saturday.

Marta Perry had a hat trick to help Pleasant Valley roll to a 10-0 Eastern Pennsylvania Conference victory over Dieruff.

The Bears, who scored eight first-half goals, also received two tallies from Keegan Merklin.

Lexi Kradniqi contributed a goal and three assists.

Three first-half goals helped Tamaqua post a 5-2 non-league victory over Catasauqua.

Brody Schlier, Jaedon Vidzicki and Aidan Elston all scored for the Blue Raiders to earn a 3-0 halftime advantage.

Vidzicki and Elston added insurance goals in the second half.

Elston, Wyatt Devlin, Ryan Geronimo and Brian Godinez all registered assists.

Kaylee Vinciguerra and Lexi Mesko both tallied for the Pirates, who have won four of their last five games.
