It was another good day for Northwestern on Friday as the Tigers won in field hockey, and boys and girls soccer.

FIELD HOCKEY

Northwestern-Catasauqua

Northwestern jumped out to 2-0 lead in the first quarter, and the Lady Tigers rolled to a 7-0 shutout over Catasauqua in Colonial league play.

Riley Schmidt tallied a pair of goals for Northwestern.

Lizzie Bass had 13 saves for Catasauqua, which remained winless in their last eight games.

Cole Mertz notched four goals to help keep Northwestern’s unbeaten streak alive with a 5-2 thumping of Salisbury in a Colonial League battle.
