Ann Wilson, lead singer of Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Heart, leads the entertainment highlights coming to local and regional venues over the next couple of weeks.

Wilson and backing band Tripsitter, who recently released the album “Consecrated Ground,” play Wind Creek Event Center. The set, available on CD and vinyl, hits digital and streaming platforms on Oct. 9.

Elsewhere, rock bands 38 Special and Dokken perform at Penn’s Peak, with The Badlees at Mauch Chunk Opera House. Melvin Seals & JBG, meanwhile, takes the Sherman Theater stage.

Meanwhile, horror actor Tom Atkins attends the Mahoning Drive-In Theater’s fourth Halloween-A-Thon, which includes screenings of the first three films in the “Halloween” franchise. The third, 1982’s “Halloween III: Season of the Witch,” starred Atkins.

• 38 Special, 8 p.m. Friday. The rock band, formed in 1974 in Jacksonville, Florida, features founding member Don Barnes. 38 Special released its 13th studio album “Milestone, its first in 21 years, in 2025. The group’s hit singles include “Hold on Loosely,” “Caught Up in You” and “Second Chance.”

• Dokken, 8 p.m. on Oct. 9. Formed in Los Angeles in 1978, Dokken — featuring founder Don Dokken — released its 12th studio album, and first in 11 years, “Heaven Comes Down,” in 2023. The glam metal band’s hit singles include “Alone Again,” “In My Dreams” and “Burning Like a Flame.”

• The Badlees, 6:30 p.m. Sunday. The roots-rock band, formed in 1990 in Selinsgrove, scored hits with the singles “Fear of Falling” and “Angeline is Coming Home” The group, whose ninth studio album arrived in 2022, released singles “Heatmiser” and “Eight Hour Waltz” in 2022 and 2025, respectively.

• Last Thursday Band, 7 p.m. on Oct. 9. The group features, among others, singer Chet Brown, who led a band in which Kevin Bacon played; the band’s name was Chet Brown & Footloose.

• Kai-Jubilee, 6 p.m. Friday. The event, celebrating Kaiju culture, includes a Kaiju photo op with Kaiju monsters, vendors, 1969 film “All Monsters Attack” (aka “Godzilla’s Revenge”) and a kaiju classic.

• Halloween-A-Thon IV, 6 p.m. on Oct. 9 and 10. Exhumed Films and the drive-in present the event, with horror actor Tom Atkins in attendance. Three Atkins films, among others, will screen: 1982’s “Halloween III: Season of the Witch,” 1986’s “Night of the Creeps” and 1988’s “Maniac Cop.”

• Vincent Price Twice, 6 p.m. on Oct. 11. The theater screens two Vincent Price-starring horror classics: 1962’s “Tales of Terror” and 1964’s “Tomb of Ligeia.” Price’s author daughter, Victoria, will attend.

• Ann Wilson & Tripsitter, 8 p.m. Friday. Wilson, lead singer of the rock band Heart, has released four solo albums and three solo EPs. Heart, recording since 1975, scored hit singles such as “Magic Man,” “Crazy on You,” “Barracuda,” “What About Love” and “Alone.” Wilson released “Another Door,” an album with backing band Tripsitter, in 2023; new set “Consecrated Ground” arrived Sept. 25.

• Jordan Jensen, 8 p.m. Saturday. Born in Ithaca, New York, the stand-up comedian/actor/podcast host was a writer on the Netflix series “Bad Thoughts.” Recent credits include Adult Swim special “The Elephant,” Netflix special “Take Me With You” and Bradley Cooper film “Is This Thing On?”

• Whiskey Myers, 7 p.m. on Oct. 10. Formed in Palestine, Texas, the country-rock band released its debut studio album in 2008. Whiskey Myers’ seventh studio set “Whomp Wack Thunder” arrived in 2025.

• Randy Feltface, 8 p.m. Friday, Musikfest Café. Australian Heath McIvor plays the puppet comedian, who has numerous stand-up specials to his credit and performs as half of musical comedy duo Sammy J and Randy. Active since 2005, Randy made his U.S. television debut on NBC’s “Bring the Funny” in 2015.

• “The Music Man,” 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 8. Meredith Wilson’s Tony-winning show, which follows a con artist who falls for a local librarian, debuted on Broadway in 1957. “The Music Man” features songs such as “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “‘Til There Was You” and “Pickalittle (Talk-a-Little).”

• Lewis Black, 8 p.m. on Oct. 9. Born in Washington, D.C., the stand-up comedian, actor and published playwright voiced the character of Anger in both “Inside Out” films. Black’s “Back in Black” has appeared as a recurrent segment on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” since the series’ 1996 debut.

• “Pinkalicious: The Musical,” 3 p.m. Saturday. Pinkalicious Pinkerton eats too many cupcakes, after which “Pinkititis” turns her pink. The musical, based on the first “Pinkalicious” picture book, debuted in 2007; Victoria and Elizabeth Kann wrote the book and lyrics, with music and lyrics by John Gregor.

• The Warped Tour Band, 8 p.m. on Oct. 9. The group, paying tribute to the summer festival that ran from 1995 to 2019 and returned in 2025, performs emo/pop-punk songs by various artists.

• Melvin Seals & JGB, 8 p.m. on Oct. 15. Born in San Francisco, Seals — a Hammond B-3 organist and producer/arranger — joined the jam-rock Jerry Garcia Band in 1981. After Garcia and original member John Kahn passed in the mid-1990s, Seals formed JGB, which has released two live albums.
