The Harvest Moon will shine indoors when the Pocono Garden Club meets at 1 p.m. on Oct. 13, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 158 Fish Hill Road, in Tannersville.

“Harvest Moon” is the theme for entries in the Design exhibits by members. It is executed in an Asian style and includes a chrysanthemum.

The program will feature Kathy Vogel, former owner of Vogel’s Garden Center. Her timely topics will be the division of perennials and fall garden cleanup tips.

The horticulture theme for October is a single-stem flower in a clear vase. Members entering an exhibit in the Houseplants category will display a potted fern or potted herb.

The growing club, which now has more than 100 active members, also will elect officers.
