October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club is featuring a Pink Light Walk which benefits PA Breast Cancer Coalition and Heart Wings in recognition and in memory of All Breast Cancer Survivors.

The event is Oct. 6.

The walk begins at 6 p.m. at the Lehighton Boys & Girls Band Hall, 197 N. 6th St., Lehighton.

The event is held rain or shine, with basket raffle tickets sold 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Light refreshments for all participants.

Guest speakers will offer inspiring stories of hope and strength.
